Voted best farmer’s market in the Inland Empire (Los Angeles Times, 2012), the Claremont Farmers & Artisans Market was founded in 1996 to connect California farmers and artisans to the local community, and features over 100 growers and artisan members sharing their goods and services. This popular market is held every Sunday from 8:00am - 1:00pm on Harvard Avenue between First St & Bonita Ave in the Claremont Village.
The Claremont Farmers & Artisans Market is a California Certified Farmers Market. Before a farmer can sell at a certified market, the government checks to make sure that the farmer grows the produce they are selling and that they abide by state agricultural guidelines. Consumers save money (and help the environment) with the elimination of packing, shipping and wholesale costs.
Local artisans showcase their clothing, jewelry, handcrafted items and more. Artists are creative entrepreneurs who are excited to explain how items are created and sourced. The Farmers and Artisans Market is the perfect place to find unique artisan crafts made locally.
The Claremont Forum sponsors this weekly event and are committed to helping promote local family farmers and to bring quality produce to our community. Proceeds from each market also help to support service projects, such as the Prison Library Project.
Enjoy a stroll through Claremont Village, taking in all of the fresh produce and quality handmade goods. Be sure to check out the nearby restaurants and shops while also supporting local growers and artists. For more information you may contact Claremont Forum at (909) 626-3066.
